Regulations

The classes will take place on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. In total, each single course comprises 90 didactic hours. The course includes an exhibition of created works and an official presentation of completion certificates.
Special visits and presentations in such cultural institutions as the Central Museum of Textiles, the Contemporary Art Museum in Lodz, the City Art Gallery, the Book Art Museum or the Film Museum will be organized for course participants.
At the end of each session a completion certificate of a given course will be issued.
The minimum number of participants in each course is 7. If this number is not reached a course may be cancelled. The maximum number of participants in each course is 15. If the number of submitted applications exceeds the number of places available, the scientific committee will select participants on the basis of their CVs and artistic portfolios.
Participants are kindly asked to indicate the second choice of course in case the chosen course is cancelled for the reason of small number of registered participants or as a consequence of reaching the maximum number.
The detailed regulations of application and participation will be published on the websites: www.patanetwork.org and www.kaus.it. Any changes to the regulations will be published on the above mentioned websites.

Course participants will be provided with:
free bus transport from the Chopin Airport in Warsaw to the Student Hall of Residence in Łódź – available for participants who plan their arrival a day before the beginning of the courses;
accommodation in the Student Hall of Residence of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź on preferential terms;
organization of the FINAL SHOW exhibition presenting their works at the Academy promoted in the media; participants will also receive a poster of the event;
a possibility to make digital prints in the Printroom of the Academy on preferential terms;
PATA bags

Course participants will have access to:
the modern library of the Academy;
a computer room equipped with graphic design software and Internet access;
WiFi in the Academy buildings;
the Academy cafeteria which will be open during the courses and will serve affordable meals.

ECTS POINTS:
International Summer Courses PATA belong to a non - formal type of education. Course participants receive a certificate confirming acquired knowledge, skills and competences along with a number of ECTS points, which reflects the actual working time. Each single course comprises 90 didactic hours (3 ECTS points).

The registration fee can only be returned if the scientific committee rejects the application or if a single course is cancelled.
The registration fee /A/ should be covered in EURO or PLN by a bank transfer to the bank account of the Academy of Fine Arts Łódź by June 30, 2020.

B/ FULL FEE
Each course: 390,00 Euro
The total amount includes the technical support of the studios and the costs of the materials used (paper, ink, yarns, cotton, wool, polyester, solvents etc.) with the exception of the printmaking plate costs and the costs of unconventional materials.
Full fee /B/ - should be paid by bank transfer to the bank account of the Academy of Fine Arts Łódź a week before the start of the chosen course at the latest or it may be paid before together with the registration fee.

APPLICATION

The application deadline for the courses is June 30, 2020 (the deadline refers to the post stamp) and may be extended until all places have been filled.

From January 2019 it will be possible to register directly through the website www.patanetwork.org

ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation request should be filled out and sent along with the course application form.
During the Summer Courses participants may be accommodated in the Student Hall of Residence of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź (Dom Studenta/Student Hall of Residence Łódź, 42 A Młynarska street).
The Student Hall of Residence offers apartments which consist of single and double rooms sharing a bathroom and a kitchen. Additionally the participants will have access to a common dining room with kitchen and to a laundry. It will also be possible to continue artistic work in a common studio.
Cost:
Single room – will be published in January
Double room – will be published in January

The total accommodation fee should be paid by bank transfer together with the full course fee to the bank account of the Academy of Fine Arts Łódź no later than a week before the beginning of the chosen course. Please add “Accommodation” in the designation of the transfer.

    The Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź in line with Article 13 (1 and 2) of the Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the EU Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as GDPR, informs that:





    1. The Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź, 121 Wojska Polskiego Street, 91 – 726 Łódź, Poland, is the Controller of the personal data.

    2. The personal data is processed by the Controller on the basis of:- a consent - Art. 6(1)(a) of GDPR

    3. To receive information about personal data processing please contact: iodo@asp.lodz.pl.

    4. Personal data provided in the application form will be processed for the purpose of recruitment process for the International Summer Courses PATA organized by the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź (hereinafter referred to as ‘the course’), and for the purposes of conducting and documenting the course.

    5. Personal data will be made available to the following recipients: entities which support the Controller in rendering electronic services, that is entities which provide and maintain the academy’s IT systems. The data may be also transferred to other entities processing data on behalf of the Controller which will take place on the basis of personal data processing agreements. These entities will process the data solely in the range and for the purpose defined by the agreements. The personal data will be made available to public authorities in accordance with provisions of law.

    6. Personal data will be processed in paper and electronic form.

    7. Personal data will be processed during the course and after it is finished for a period required by legal regulations including accounting acts.

    8. Personal data will not be processed automatically or profiled.

    9. The data subject has the right to withdraw the consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness ofprocessing based on the consent before its withdrawal.

    10. The data subject who withdraws the consent will not be able to participate in the course.

    11. The data subject has the right to request from the Controller access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning the data subject or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability if it is allowed by the provisions of law.

    12. Providing personal data is required for the purpose of enrolling a participant for PATA course organized by the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź, for running the course and documenting it.

    13. If according to the data subject his/her data is processed in a manner which violates the GDPR regulations, he/she has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 of GDPR, that is with the Chairperson of the Personal Data Protection Office.
