PATA EXTRA: AUGUST 8 - 20, 2017
Master Hiromi Inayoshi - designer and art director, Tokyo, Japan
Assistant: mgr Izumi Yoshida
Hiromi Inayoshi created the concept of personal logotypes which initiated a new trend in the field of portrait art. Since 1999 he has created numerous personal logos for people from around the world including heads of state, celebrities and members of the world of culture such as His Majesty the King of Thailand, His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei, Prof. Muhammad Yunus, the Nobel Peace Laureate of 2006, and His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
Participants of PATA courses will have the opportunity to create their personal logo under the guidance of Master Inayoshi.
The mission of Master Inayoshi is to use art to contribute to the world free from nuclear weapons and wars. The course will focus on two tasks: creating a poster ‘No More Hiroshima’ whose subject theme will be peace, and a worldwide unique book ‘Picture Book without Pictures – When the Whole World Is Covered in Drawings’ by Hiromi Inayoshi. Each Participant will design a book filled with drawings, collages, reliefs and even spatial elements creating a one of a kind book paying tribute to peace. All Participants will have access to a computer studio where they will be able to work on their posters under the guidance of Master Inayoshi.
The course will be an excellent opportunity for Participants to develop their artistic skills with the help of the designer of a world renown and to grasp the quintessence of art through artistic techniques and design. The final products of the course will be posters, artists’ books and personal logotypes.
